How It Works

What actually happens in a coaching session?

We talk about what’s actually going on, not the version you’d give your boss. You leave with clarity on what’s blocking you and exactly what to do about it.

How long is the commitment?

Depending on who you are and what you select, programs run 3, 6 or 12 months. These are not one-off sessions when it's convenient. Anything less, you’re just having good conversations. The commitment is what makes the change stick.

Why not just pay per session?

Per-session means you can quit the moment it gets uncomfortable. And that's exactly when the work matters most. The commitment isn't a sales tactic. It's what makes change actually happen.

Is this right for me?

I'm managing. Is that enough of a reason to reach out?

Managing and thriving are not the same. The people who wait until they're completely overwhelmed pay a much higher price, in time, health, and opportunities they didn't take because they were too focused on holding it together.

I'm not in a career transition. Can coaching still help?

Yes. While transition is one reason to hire a coach, wanting to go from good to exceptional is another. Most of my clients aren’t in crisis.  They’re ready to level up.

I already see a therapist covered by insurance. What does this give me that therapy doesn't?

Therapy helps you understand why you are the way you are. Coaching is about what you're going to do about it: your career, leadership, business, your next move. Most of my clients see both.  They're not the same investment because they're not doing the same job.

I’ve tried coaching before. It didn’t work. What makes this different?

It probably wasn't the coaching, it was the timing. You weren't ready, the pain wasn't great enough, or you weren't able to get to the real problem yet. If you're asking this question now, something has changed. That's your answer.

What makes Persistent Courage different?

I'm someone who's been through just about everything there is to go through in life, career and business. 25+ years inside organizations of all types and sizes. I don't coach from a textbook. I've lived it.

what it costs

The investment feels significant. How do I know it’s worth it?

Put a number on what staying stuck costs you. Lost income, wrong job, bad decisions, time you won't get back. If that number is bigger than this investment, and it almost always is, you have your answer.

Is there a payment plan?

I don’t offer payment plans directly, but PayPal and other payment platforms do. You can use them at checkout. If the investment feels like a stretch, let's talk about it on the discovery call.

How to get started

What happens on a Discovery Call?

It’s a free 1-hour conversation, not a sales pitch. We get to know one another to determine if we can work together. If it’s not the right fit, I’ll tell you and point you in a different direction, if I can.

Do I have to decide on the call?

No. Ask yourself whether ‘I need to think about it’ means you need more information or that you’re scared. One I can help with on the call. The other only you can answer.
